Mark Sinnott

Executive Director

Mark has over 20 years in Operations Management experience across startup, non-profit and global organizations. He has worked in the financial, insurance, and healthcare technology sectors with an emphasis on day-to-day business operations and quality management.  Mark lives with his beautiful wife and daughter in Stoughton, WI.  Stoughton has resettled over 50 Ukrainian refugees in its community since February 2022 and Mark is proud to have been a small part in making these families feel welcomed.  He is inspired by their optimism and resilience in the face of adversity.  Mark is honored to be serving the mission of this organization.

Illia Poroshkov

Development Director

With 17 years of experience in philanthropy and humanitarian aid to citizens in active war zones, Illia has become a noticeable example of humanitarian action and service to the community. His story is inspiring and shows how one person with determination and dedication can make a difference in the lives of many. Illia can be viewed not only as an accomplished humanitarian, but also as a source an inspiration. He derives his strength and passion for work from his wife and two daughters. With the support of his team, Illia is able to achieve better results and continue his important mission. His personal experience as a resettler and refugee allows him to better understand the needs of those in need during difficult times and to better assist those facing similar challenges and difficult life circumstances.

Maryna Oliinyk

Creative Director

Maryna is a recent UW-Whitewater graduate with a major in Political Science and minor in Psychology. She is currently working at the Capitol, where she manages day-to-day operations at the legislator’s office. Being born in Ukraine, recent events in her homeland have had a tremendous effect on her world outlook, which led her to pursue life filled with purpose of helping those in need.
